Teddy And Me.

As part of our topic we had the fantastic opportunity to go on an adventure to Cannock Chase! We were very excited about going on a Teddybear's Picnic in a real forest!

We got to explore the forest and learn about different types of plants and animals that live there. First we went on a bug hunt and then searched for pine cones and acorn cups. Then we came across the forest drums where we made lots of noise to try and find our missing teddies and lunch!

We also had to find lots of autumn leaves and stick them on to our teddy pictures and talk about the colours we liked. When we found our bears we had a picnic in the forest! Finally we worked in teams to build dens for our teddy bears using the natural materials that we could find.
