Welcome to Delves Nursery!
Come and look at the exciting activities Nursery have taken part in this year!
'Play gives children a chance to practise what they are learning.'
Happy Fathers Day!
We celebrated the special grown ups in our lives who look after us. We made sparkly salt-dough stars and beautiful rocket photo frames for our Father or special grown up.
Nursery had an amazing time at Ash End Farm. We sang our favourite farmyard nursery rhymes and cared for lots of different animals. The hens liked us so much they even let us take a special egg home!
This Summer, Nursery completed their first ever Commando Joe's Mission. We became Character Explorers and explored the characteristics of Teamwork with the help of Tanisha Teamwork.
Miss McCarthy and Mrs Cooper made a bad choice and left all the PE equipment on the field. The Nursery children worked as a team to help the teachers turn their bad choice into a good one and collect all the PE equipment. They could only collect 1 item in the bucket each time or the bucket would break, and only two children could hold the bucket at one time.
All of the children wanted to collect the objects but they discovered that it was fair to take turns and "teamwork means working together".
