Morning Sessions: 9.00am - 12.00 pm    Afternoon Sessions: 12.30pm - 3.30pm

All day sessions (30 hours) 9.00am - 3.00pm

We also offer an additional 1/2 hour session for 30 hour children at the end of day (£2.50 a session).

*These sessions can be booked in for the term but cannot be changed once booked in*

The children will need a change of clothes in a draw string bag to stay on their peg in

case of any accidents or if they get wet while playing at Nursery.

In the cold weather the children will still have access to the outdoor areas, so they will need a warm/waterproof coat and suitable shoes.

Children staying for 30 hours will have the option of bringing a packed lunch or purchasing a school dinner.

Monday is our music day.

We explore sounds and musical instruments with Mr Joseph

Wednesday is our Library Bus day.

The children will visit the Library Bus for a story and they can take a book home provided that they bring their library book bag to school (bags can be purchased from the school office).

Friday is our PE day.

Please send your child to Nursery wearing their PE kits of black joggers/leggings, white t shirt and suitable footwear on this day. Thank you!

Welcome back to Nursery!

We will be finding out about seasonal changes as well as the different celebrations we take part in. There will be a continued focus on the themes 'My Home', 'My Family' and 'My Community' so please do help us by sharing photographs for us to display in class. This half term we would like to ask for families to talk about the different jobs within our community; please do complete the parent questionnaire to help us with our discussions.

Please visit the 'gallery' page to see lots of photos of our fantastic learning experiences. We do need parent consent for this so please ensure your preferences are up to date.

* This term read or tell your child as many stories as you can. *

* Don’t forget to ask your child to tell you a story. *

We will also be busy preparing for our Christmas performance. You can help us by singing the songs with your children to the tune specified on the sheets. Any problems, please speak to the Nursery team; we are always happy to help.

Home learning

At Delves we believe when home and school work together to support children they will grow and succeed in a safe and caring environment.

We will use Marvellous Me to let you know all of the WOW moments your child has in school.

If your child does something fantastic at home don't forget to fill out a WOW voucher star for them and hand them in to any member of staff in Nursery.

You can also email any work, videos or photos to

if your child is in Rockets group with Mrs Small  or

if your child is in Stars group with Mrs Akhtar.

Thank you for your continued support!
