would like to welcome all of our children and parents to our Nursery.
Morning Sessions: 9.00am - 12.00 pm Afternoon Sessions: 12.30pm - 3.30pm
All day sessions (30 hours) 9.00am - 3.00pm
We also offer an additional 1/2 hour session for 30 hour children at the end of day (£3.00 a session).
*These sessions can be booked in for the term but cannot be changed once booked in*
The children will need a change of clothes in a draw string bag to stay on their peg in
case of any accidents or if they get wet while playing at Nursery. No back packs please.
In the cold weather the children will still have access to the outdoor areas, so they will need a warm/waterproof coat and suitable shoes.
Children staying for 30 hours will have the option of bringing a packed lunch or purchasing a school dinner through ParentPay. All children have free access to their water bottles daily so please ensure this is clearly labelled with their name.
Some key reminders about our week:
Our 1000 stories box will be outside nursery doors at the beginning of each session for you to choose a book with your child. Collect a stamp each time you and your child have enjoyed one of our special stories together and returned the book to the box. Remember to send your completed collection cards into nursery for us to celebrate together!
Thursday is our Library Bus day.
The children will visit the Library Bus for a story and they can take a book home if they bring their blue book bag to school on this day.
Friday is our PE day.
Please send your child to Nursery wearing their PE kits of black joggers/leggings, white t-shirt and suitable footwear on this day. Thank you!
Welcome to Nursery!
We are so excited to welcome all of our new nursery children into our outstanding nursery!
As we settle the children into their new routines you can help us by
making sure your child has all of their belongings named, ensure the school office has the correct contact numbers, and to give a big smile and wave before you leave. We will always call if your child is upset during these early days but usually find they settle quickly! Your child's teacher will let you know how they have got on at the end of each session, please wait until all children have been dismissed if you wish to speak privately.
We will be finding out about our new nursery and the people that will help us. Please do ensure your child's teacher has a copy of a family photograph for our special display in class.
We will introduce the children to the key themes 'My Home', 'My Family' and 'My Community' which we revisit throughout the year. This half term we would like to ask for families to talk about the different people in your family and why they are special.
Please visit the 'gallery' page to see lots of photos of our fantastic learning experiences. We do need parent consent for this so please ensure your preferences are up to date.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated support.

Home learning
At Delves we believe when home and school work together to support children they will grow and succeed in a safe and caring environment.
We will use Marvellous Me to let you know all of the WOW moments your child has in school.
If your child does something fantastic at home don't forget to fill out a WOW voucher star for them and hand them in to any member of staff in Nursery. We love to see photographs too!
