• MacMillan Coffee Morning - Friday 26th September

  A MacMillan coffee morning will be held on Friday 26th September.  More information to follow shortly.

• Free School Meals

  ALL children in Reception, Year One and Year Two are now entitled to a free school meal at lunchtime.  The meals are cooked on the premises and there is a hot and cold option daily.  We really would like every child to try this option.  It will make life much easier at home if you do not have to make a packed lunch.  Let us do the hard work! All eating requirements can be catered for, all you have to do is let the school office know.  However if your child does choose to bring a packed lunch from home this MUST be their option for the whole week.

   

  Although all children are entitled to a free school meal if you are entitled to any benefits please could you obtain a form from the school office for completion. 

• KS1 Party Day - Thursday 17th July

  Year One and Year Two children will have their end of year party today.  Children can come to school in their party clothes.

• Non-Uniform Day/Toy Day Friday 18th July

  Reception, Year One and Year Two are able to come to school on Friday in non-uniform for a small donation on 50p.  Children can also bring along a toy but please nothing expensive or of sentimental value.

   

  All Nursery children are to attend the morning session on Friday as there will be NO afternoon session on this day.  Children can come to school in non-uniform for a small donation of 50p but please no toys due to the number of children attending the session.

• Foundation Stage WOW Day - Wednesday 16th July

  Foundation Stage WOW Day will take place on Wednesday 16th July for all Nursery and Reception children.  The theme for the day will be 'Beach Party'.

  The children are invited to come to school in their Summer holiday clothes, sun hats and sun ream will be needed.  They are to bring one object associated with the Seaside ie; bucket, spade, shells, armbands, beach towel, beach ball etc.

  If the weather is unsuitable we will adapt the day accordingly.

• Parent Drop In Session Monday 14th July

  Parents are invited to come along to the drop in session today to look at your child's school books.  This will commence at 3.30pm - 4pm and will take place in your child's classroom.

• School Closed Due to Industrial Strike Thursday 10th July

  Due to Industrial Action Delves Infant and Nursery School and Delves Junior School will be closed to all pupils on Thursday 10th July.  Both schools will be open as normal on Friday 11th July.

• Nursery Concert 7th & 8th July

  Nursery will be performing their concert on Monday 7th July for parents who wish to bring small children and on Tuesday 8th July for adults only.  Children will take part in their normal session time.  There are no tickets for this performance and entry will be through the normal nursery door.
