A big congratulations to the winners of our 'World Maths Day - Spend £50 to improve our school' competition. We bought a number bucket throwing game. From Yellows we have Will B. Will wanted to buy an animal home so that we can look after animals in our school grounds, we bought a hedgehog home. From Blues our winner is Alice G. Alice wanted to buy some 'Star of the week trophies' that children get to take home. We are looking forward to seeing who gets to take home the trophies first!

  • Polite Notice - New Playground Equipment

    Thu 06 Jun 2013
We have recently had a some new playground equipment installed and unfortunately due to health and safety we are unable to allow children to use this new equipment including the trim trail, pirate ship and reading huts before or after school hours.

Children have lots of opportunities to use each area throughout the day in a safe and well supervised manner.  The equipment has been designed especially for our infant pupils and is not appropriate or safe for toddlers or children over 7 years of age.

We will not be responsible for any accidents or injuries received by any children playing on the equipment out of school times.

I appreciate that many of the children are extremely excited about the new playzones and will pester you to let them use the equipment before the start of school and when they are collected after school has finished.  I appeal to all Parents to support us on this matter. I myself and staff will continue to make this rule clear to all pupils in assembly time and in classroom discussions.

Last of all, we are especially lucky to have a governing body willing to invest funds in developing our school environment.  Each project has to be carefully planned due to cost and funding.  We are especially keen to take care of and look after our special new resources and not see them get damaged or broken.

Thank you for your ongoing support and strong parent partnerships.
